"Green Thumb"
Little did I know that after watching my hired landscaper create his art with new plantings in my backyard, I would then see these new beginnings die! So I ended up researching plants, making my own purchases, and delighted with the appearance of new growth or blossoms.
This painting, the start of my �Sprout! Series,� was inspired by several of the species now growing in my yard. The rainbow of plants I used are not necessarily native to Arizona; but for the environmentally conscious, I do believe in xeriscaping!
