I recently visited Arcosanti, an on-going planned community project Mayer, Arizona, designed by renowned architect Paolo Soleri. The architecture is coherent with ecology and allows interaction with the surrounding natural desert environment. I was awestruck by its poetic appearance!

Combining a rainbow of colors for the mountains, I created an aura of energy surrounding a virtual desert arcology, much like the Northern Lights phenomenon in Alaska.
As you view this piece, be sure to look at it from all angles, and in dim lighting. You will be surprised by the many illusions created through my use of subtle paint colors.
