"Leading Ladies"
On one of our many family trips from Palm Beach, Florida to Charleston, South Carolina to watch my brother play college baseball, my Grandmother Perrin went with us. She had traveled all the way from St. Louis, Missouri. Touring the historical city of Charleston, my Mother and Grandmother stopped to pose for a photograph. That photograph was my inspiration for this oil on canvas!
That trip was the last time I ever saw my Grandmother alive! The photograph I studied for so long has since become a part of my family treasures. Grandma's giggle is embedded in my memory forever! My Mother remains by my side with her daily loving support of my artistic endeavors!
